HEART OF LIGHTNESS | 2016

The following is a continuation of the series of large-scale prints, printed on location, in Tola, Nicaragua. In the winter of 2016. While surfing in the area, about 2 years ago, I came across this giant driftwood "graveyard". I made it a point to go back after carefully measuring and cataloging all the giant immoveable logs. And spent 5 days printing the driftwood. The series is a further exploration into the large-scale driftwood printing started in the spring of 2015. Winter 2017 will be bringing further efforts to catalogue and document the large immoveable objects jettisoned on the beaches of central eastern Nicaragua.
